Band of Bloggers

If you go to my Links page, you will find my selection of favorite bloggers that I visit daily. These guys do amazing and God glorifying work and were my inspiration to blog myself. Looks like I will get to meet a few of them! I just signed up for the Band of Bloggers 2012 event. It coincides with the Together for the Gospel conference on April 10th. I’m excited to meet my favorites like Tim Challies, Justin Taylor and Kevin DeYoung. Hopefully it will inspire me to get blogging more consistently again. It only cost $15 yet they are giving away 17 books to each attendee! I better pack light…

The Band of Bloggers was started with a vision and collaborative effort to unite bloggers who have a passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ. It carries with it a desire that the gospel be normative in our lives, central in our writing, and powerful in our witness to the world.

The purpose of Band of Bloggers gatherings is to forward the discussion on gospel-centered blogging and leveraging our online influence for the glory of God.

At the 2012 Band of Bloggers gathering, we will take a look back at the past six years and consider the impact–good and bad–of blogging and technology in the Young, Restless, and Reformed movement.
